I AM the Moon

Happy Solstice and Full moon everyone! This full moon is in Cancer which is also my Ascendant or Rising sign. The North Node is also travelling through Cancer this year, making the qualities of this sign very important as the 'destiny' or point of focus for all of us for about 1.5 years! The sign of Cancer ♋️ is ruled by the Moon. So I thought I would speak about what the Moon represents, in astrology and spirituality in general. Being ruled by the Moon, Cancer is one of the most Feminine signs, it is the sign of the Mother. Its greatest strength is Receptivity. The ability to create and manifest without much action. Think about it, the Moon is dark until the Sun does the work to light it up with its light. The Moon simply receives within Love. It is the most receptive thing we know, allowing herself to completely be filled up.

During 2019 and part of 2020, we may go through initiations where trying to make things happen with too much action may not prove lucrative as that is a more Masculine way of doing things. We have both the Masculine and Feminine polarities within us. Feminine strength is about trusting that life flows in cycles. About magnetising everything we need simply by being. If things are not manifesting in the physical the way we tried to will with our lower human will, this means that there is much action going on within us first. Where something truly large is being conceived and growing. In one particular area in our life (the house that is ruled by the sign Cancer in our chart) especially we may be asked to come deeper into our Feminine energy of being the one who just fully surrenders and allows themselves to be filled, impregnated and then is taken through the experience of the gestation process. In this time we become familiar with our inner cycles... with a feeling of void sometimes where we feel empty (point before conception of New Light).
